2-year-old severely malnourished boy being treated by UNICEF

Wife of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari was so shocked by UNICEF reports that a staggering 2.5 Nigerian children are suffering from severe acute malnutrition that she recently launched an initiative to fight child malnutrition in Nigeria.

Aisha Buhari’s ‘Get Involved’ initiative is looking for the support of ordinary Nigerians and will also be working with the private sector, development partners, non-governmental organisations and UNICEF to help end child malnurition in the country.
